LEARN TO PRINT ON FABRIC!
MAKE YOUR OWN FABRICS!
Would you like to create your own graceful scarf or fabric length?'I feel like I can recommend this to anyone who has the slightest interest in art/textiles because it's really fun and anybody can learn this' - S. Nootha.
Learn to print on fabric in a 3-hour workshop perfect for all skill levels! Using soft cotton fabric and easy printing methods, you can create your own washable artwork. Learn to trace, carve and print using soft linoleum in this fun hands-on workshop.
Choose from Peranakan heritage floor tile patterns or bring along your own designs! Enjoy experimenting with various colour and pattern combinations to produce a one-of-a-kind creation. You're welcome to bring along your own cotton items to print too!
At the end of the workshop, you will leave with your own unique, hand printed scarf or a beautiful piece of fabric that can be used to create anything you desire. You’ll also be able to use your hand-carved block for future projects - cards, gift wrap or even wallpaper!
Included in this workshop:
- Your choice of selected Peranakan & heritage tile motifs
- Hands-on instructions covering the entire printing process
- A variety of papers and coloured permanent fabric inks
